Rafał Bruski was born in 1962. Graduated from Gdynia Maritime University – Faculty of Navigation in 1986. Having completed post graduate studies in Accountancy and Finance, Rafał Bruski obtained Bachelor’s Degree in finance and banking at Poznań University of Economics. He read European Union Tax Law at Toruń Nicolaus Copernicus University. Prior to the voivode’s appointment he had been Deputy Mayor of the City of Bydgoszcz (responsible for the City’s Development Strategy, European Union funds and more). Rafał Bruski had worked as tax adviser, inspector for the Bydgoszcz Tax Inspection Office and Officer Navigator for Polish Ocean Lines.
Kujawsko-Pomorski Vice-voivode
Dariusz Kurzawa was born in 1976. Holds PhD in History (Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz). He graduated from Toruń Nicolaus Copernicus University. He read Social and Cultural Studies at European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (upon Oder). Prior to the appointmetnt to the post of Vice-voivode he was a director of the Communal Culture and Recreation Centre in Strzelno. Dariusz Kurzawa was also a member of the Mogilno County Board. Hobbies: archeology, football, cars and literature.
General Director
Andrzej Baranowski was born in 1969. He graduated from University of Technology and Agriculture in Bydgoszcz, where he received doctor’s degree in agriculture. Completed post graduate studies in agriculture and rural Development (Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń) and real estate valuation (University of Warmia nad Mazury in Olsztyn). A. Baranowski attended numerous courses and trainings – i.e. in Civil Service Office in Warsaw, Danish School of Public Administration and Warsaw’s International School of Managers. In K-PUW since 1993, where he held executive posts of deputy director and director of agriculture department as well as Regional Development Department (2002-2003). Prior to the appointment he had worked as director of the Environment, Agriculture and Rural development Department of the Kujawsko-Pomorski Vivodeship Office. He also presided over Kujawsko-Pomorski Voivode’s commission for administration reform (1998-2000). Additionaly worked as a university lecturer in the fields of administration, environment protection and Eurepean funds.
